It has been an amazing week packed with all kinds of unforgettable adventures. I can’t wait to share them with you!

Not a bad view in sight |
Our 1,700+ mile, 9-day “Great Northern California Road Trip of 2012” took us from Los Angeles to the Bay Area and beyond. We camped for three consecutive nights in three different cities. We hiked through a forest of redwoods, saw one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world and explored caves. We added two new California State Parks to our list – plus two national parks.
We spent one awe-inspiring night out under the stars, slept in a former caboose, caught a baseball game, visited the Jelly Belly factory and rode in a cable car.
In the coming weeks I will be sharing the details of our adventures. But for the moment, I’ve got to get ready for a big day tomorrow: The Big Explorer starts third grade.
Stay tuned …
