School may have started for some of you. And you might just be feeling like summer is slipping away. So do yourself a favor: Head outside this weekend and go on a hike.

Try a new trail. Or revisit an old favorite.
Make it a special family day. Or invite along some friends.
Challenge the kids to reach a new hiking goal. Or have fun playing along the way instead.
Try a newfangled treasure hunt (aka geocaching). Or let nature’s beauty be the real discovery.
Wherever you decide to explore, give yourself permission to disconnect from the craziness of your week, slow down and reconnect with nature.
By the way, the U.S. National Parks are making it easy to go on a hike this weekend; they’re waving entrance fees to all parks on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013.

Have fun exploring Goa. It sounds exciting! 🙂
This is something I miss – it's hard to do in india and especially in Delhi. We move to Goa next week and I am hoping we can do this there! Love the picture!
