It’s Time to Let You in on a Little Secret

by Debi Huang

Late December, I was tagged by a fellow blogger to write a post sharing my three best kept travel secrets. Then I tapped a few of my blogger friends and they tapped a few of theirs, and so on.

This “Three Best Kept Travel Secrets” game started with Katie from Tripbase and before it was over, more than 500 ideas had been shared by travel bloggers around the web.

But instead of leaving it at that, Tripbase decided to collect all these fantastic ideas and put them together into a free travel e-book series. And as if that weren’t enough, the folks at Tripbase turned the effort into a charitable project.

That’s right. For every FREE travel e-book you download, Tripbase will donate $1 to Charity: Water.

Tripbase’s goal? To provide funds to build freshwater wells and clean drinking water to people in developing nations. What’s not to love about that?

Whether you’re interested in U.S. travel, family travel, great food or beaches around the world, this series provides something for everyone. I hope you’ll take a moment and check it out. (You can read my three travel secrets in the family travel e-book.) There are seven separate books to peruse, each 100% free to you.

I am proud to count myself among those contributing to this effort and I hope you will, too. After all, it costs you nothing and will help make a major difference in the lives of many.

It's always nice to share.

Oops, I just remembered I had an email about contributing to that. I guess I missed the boat. Luckily, I can go download it and get lots of good ideas anyway. Thanks for sharing!
