Give A Kid a Camera is an opportunity to share photos of nature taken by children. Each Tuesday, I’ll offer up an idea of what to look for to get you and your explorers inspired to head outside.
This Week’s Idea
Capture a favorite tree.
Last week, I set the soon-to-be-three little explorer free at the park with my camera (yes, people looked at me like I was nuts!). I told him to take some pictures of the trees, which he set about doing gleefully.
I love this shot because you can see his shadow. He took tons of shots of trees (mission accomplished), but this is by far my favorite.
Next Week’s Inspiration
A favorite place in your backyard
How to Join the Fun
To make things a little simpler, I’ve created a group on Flickr to share our Give a Kid a Camera pictures.
To participate, join the Give a Kid a Camera group, then upload a photo of nature taken by a child. (Please only share photos that you have permission to share.)
In the weeks ahead, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite photos here!
Happy exploring!
