Welcome to another edition of “Readers Weigh In,” where I pose a question on the Go Explore Nature Facebook page and you respond. Then I feature as many answers as possible with everyone here (along with a link to your wonderfully amazing blog if you have one).
The question I posed this week:
What Are You Thankful to Nature For This Season?
Here’s what some of you had to say.
Nature, I am thankful for the many hours of entertainment you provide me and my children. We all might go crazy without you!
Abbey from Abbey’s World:
Colors! I love the Fall colors, even though they may be sparse here in So Cal I am thankful to get out and find them!
I am thankful at the amazing power of nature to provide solace and comfort, and even healing when life knocks us for a loop.
We’re with Abbey; colors! Nea is from Florida and Pablo is from Texas where the color change is green to brown. Here in Tennessee, we get so many amazing colors. It’s always our favorite 🙂
Michelle from Fading Into Myth:
I’m thankful for the health and economic benefits nature provides.
I’m thankful for all the many wonderful sanity-sustaining hobbies it allows me to participate in with each new season. Very grateful it’s still biking season, not sure I’m ready for snow sports season just yet …
I am grateful for the cool breezes making our time outdoors more pleasant.

Now it’s your turn – what are you thankful to nature for?
