Earlier this summer, I kicked off a new feature on the Go Explore Nature Facebook page. Every Tuesday (well, almost every Tuesday), I offered up an idea for making one small change in your life. Not necessarily a change that would connect you and your family to nature per se, but one I hoped would connect you and your family.
What I couldn’t have anticipated was the overwhelmingly positive response I’d get.
The idea behind the “one small change” tips has long been brewing. From where I sit in my urban jungle, I often feel alone in my efforts to simplify, funify and joyify my kids’ childhoods (and yes, I’m pretty sure those last two aren’t actual words).
The fact that my Tuesday posts have been so well received suggests that I’m not.
And so I thought I would share this week’s idea here and see how it goes.
Collect moments, not things. And don’t wait for a special occasion – start today.

Love the quote! I think I really live by that one. That is an amazing picture too! One to treasure (along with your moments!!!)
