I don’t know about you, but we’ve been having a lot of fun with our Fall Nature Photo Scavenger Hunt. I wasn’t sure how it would feel to spend an entire season searching for all of the items. Would we forget to play? Lose interest along the way?
So far, so good. We keep the Fall Nature Photo Scavenger Hunt list posted prominently on our refrigerator so we see it several times a day. That helps us keep a mini to do list in our minds when we head out the door.
We have fun checking items off the list as we find them, but we also like comparing what we chose one day for one item with another image we discover for the same item on a different day. Case in point: “Leaves.”
And then there’s “weather.”
No, you don’t have to take a bunch of pictures of each word on the list! But it is fun to see how certain items might change throughout the season.
If you haven’t downloaded your own copy of the Fall Nature Photo Scavenger Hunt, what are you waiting for? There’s still plenty of time to play along!
I’d love to see what fall looks like in your little corner of the world. You can share your photos with me on the Go Explore Nature Facebook page or on Instagram (follow me @goexplorenature). And if you’re on Pinterest, send me your username & follow any of my boards; you can then add your photos to the Fall Nature Photo Scavenger Hunt board.
Ready to start playing? Head over to the Fall Nature Photo Scavenger Hunt and get started!
Remember: This scavenger hunt is meant to be fun, so don’t worry if you miss an item or don’t start playing along until mid-season. The point of all of this is to get outside with your family and connect with nature.
If only … 🙂
What a great idea to extend a scavenger hunt over a season. You think of everything :)<br />
Thanks – it's fun for adults, too!
What a wonderful way to introduce children to nature.xxx
