It’s not a bouquet of flowers. Or a massage. Or even a mani-pedi.
If you’re wondering how I could possibly know what every mom wants this spring, it’s because I’m right there with you in the trenches.
Like you, I’m working my tail off every single day to provide the best childhood I can for my kids. I’m trying hard to carve out time in their lives for unstructured play (preferably outdoors) and nature, which these days usually takes us somewhere beyond our backyard.
I’m also working two part-time jobs – four if you count being a parent and a housekeeper, too (which I think you should) – and trying to squeeze in some adult time with the hubby amidst it all.
More days than not, I feel overwhelmed. Even exhausted.
Can you relate?
I get it. I know that what we all really want is to be good parents. To be rockstar parents, even! To yell less and have more fun. To enjoy the moments.
To do that, sometimes we need a little help. Help from a friend who’s been there. Can show you the way. Offer you the what, where, when, why and how so all you have to do is go.
